The National Minimum Wage Regulations 1999 (Amendment) Regulations 2002 came into force on 1 October 2002.
The standard amount of National Minimum Wage increased from 1 October 2002 from £4.10 to £4.20.
The minimum wage applying to young workers between 18 and 21 increased from £3.50 to £3.60. The new rates apply to pay reference periods beginning on or after 1 October 2002.
